Dr. Kulkarni, a doctorate in Botany, has over 40 years of experience in academia, research and corporate.
His last stint was with ITC’s Paperboards and Specialty Papers Division for more than 25 years in the plantation development and research. Previously, he worked with State Forest Research Institute, Madhya Pradesh, Sandal Research Centre, Bangalore and Karnataka University. He published about 80 technical papers in leading national/international journals. Served as Forestry consultant to the World Bank aided forestry projects, consultant to Winrock International, USA, member of Forest Stewardship Council and advisory Member of Indian Business Biodiversity Initiative (IBBI)
